My name is Dr. David Sanders, and I'm a proud practitioner in the field of Functional Health.  I've always been an avid student of science, with an innate curiosity about cause and effect.  Perhaps it was this need for understanding that prompted me to study Biology and Chemistry in college, and become a Doctor of Chiropractic.  I spent years building my practice.  Now, I could cite my credentials regarding my studies in Physiology at the cellular level, my advanced education in Endocrinology, or my combined work experience in Pharmaceuticals and Chiropractic that give me a full range of insight.  But I'd rather tell you my story instead.  Because this is beyond just a business for me.  It's become a passion that's very personal to me.

In the pursuit of helping my Chiropractic patients lead healthier lives, I soon grew weary of hearing their stories of primary care physicians doing a disservice to them by simply prescribing medication instead of fixing the fundamental problem. They were slowly getting worse, not better.  And they were becoming more and more dependent on pharmaceuticals, which are the antithesis of healthy living.

Furthermore, in 2004, the world as I knew it changed dramatically when I learned that my own mother was facing a fight against both Type II Diabetes and Alzheimers.  My coping strategy threw me into research mode, immersing myself in both literature and endocrinology conferences across the country.  I knew there were more answers than what her medical team could provide me, and I was determined to find them.  What I uncovered both astounded and confounded me.  I was stunned that our modern society was still abiding by such archaic information where it concerned the treatment of Type II.  Shocked to uncover the strong connection between Type II and Alzheimers, which is considered "Diabetes of the Brain."  Yet,  I was ecstatic to learn that, contrary to popular belief, it was, possible to reverse this devastating disease.  And I knew I had been called to do something about it.

Unfortunately, by the time I put all the pieces of the puzzle together and gathered all of the necessary treatment information, my mother had developed cancer (You must learn the connection between Diabetes, Alzheimers, and Cancer). She succumbed to her diseases and departed this Earthly life. The fact that I couldn't save her became more fuel for my mission to save as many others as I can.   This information was too groundbreaking to waste when there were so many people ready to reclaim their life.

It was then that my wife, Tracy, and I decided to dedicate our lives to helping people beat the fastest growing epidemic in modern health.  To provide a solution, or saving grace, to a problem once thought to be incurable.  To go the extra mile in revealing the root of the problem, and treat each patient like the unique being he/she is, and customize a plan that will work for their individual composition.  We take pride in solving the most complicated cases, in leaving no stone unturned, all in the name of changing lives for the better.  Simply put, my passion is preventing others from suffering the same fate as my mother. Continuing to save lives means her diagnosis will not have been in vain.
